These guidelines help customers submit stronger Direct-to-Film artwork for cleaner print results. The page is intentionally DTF-only and focused on practical service guidance.
PNWDTFS prints the artwork as submitted. Files that are already cleaned up, sized correctly, and ready for production move through the process faster and reduce back-and-forth before printing begins.
Submit the final artwork exactly as you want it printed, including spacing, layout, and overall scale.
If the file needs cleanup or adjustment, customers can request help in the Designer Studio before sending the project.
For the best print result, artwork should be high resolution and prepared at the actual print size when possible. That reduces scaling issues and helps preserve edge quality.
300 DPI is the recommended direction for raster artwork such as PNG files.
Artwork prepared at the final output size is more reliable than drastically enlarging a smaller file later.
If a background is part of the design, it should remain. If it is not intended to print, it should be removed before submission. A transparent background is usually best for standalone artwork and logos.
Use transparent PNG or similarly prepared artwork when the design should print without a visible background box.
If white or colored backgrounds are part of the design, leave them in place so the printed result matches expectations.
Screen color and print color are not always identical, so artwork should be prepared with realistic print expectations. Thin lines and very small details may also need attention to hold up better in production.
CMYK-prepared artwork is usually closer to print expectations than RGB-only color thinking.
Avoid extremely fine details, tiny outlines, or fragile line work that may not reproduce as strongly at smaller sizes.
When artwork is built in design software, fonts should be outlined or converted to shapes before submission. This avoids font replacement problems and helps preserve the intended look.
Convert text to outlines or curves before exporting the final file whenever possible.
Print-ready PNG, PDF, SVG, AI, PSD, and similar formats can be useful depending on the project and file condition.
Customers who are not sure whether the file is ready can still move forward. The Designer Studio includes a designer-help option and a structured project form so BSiPromos can review the order with better context.
If the artwork needs cleanup, resizing, or general review, start in the Designer Studio. That gives BSiPromos the project notes, dimensions, quantity, and customer details in one clear path.
